Number of Players: 2 or more

Age of Players: 6 and above

You will need: paper and markers, a variety of baby food jars, enough small spoons that fit into the jars – one for each player.

Prep: Take all the labels off the jars – but make sure you know which label belonged to each jar.

How to Play:

Show the players the individual jars of baby food and hand them a spoon (and paper and marker if using them) each. Ask the players to taste each jar of baby food and write down, or whisper to a leader, what flavor they think the baby food might be. The player that guesses the flavors the most accurately is the winner.

Variation: Have some multiple choice answers to help the younger players or if you are wanting to make sure you have a clear winner.

Applications:

CHILDREN OF GOD: You might think that only babies eat baby food! Well that’s true, but did you know that Paul tells us in the bible that when we become born again we may need spiritual milk, but as we mature we can ‘eat’ more spiritual truths that are harder to chew and need more consideration and thought. (1 Corinthians 13:11, 1 Peter 2:2, 1 Corinthians 3:2, Hebrews 5:12)
