Number of Players: 4 or more (2 to play, 2 to guess)
Age of Players: 8 and above
You will need: No equipment needed.
Prep: No prep needed – just some ideas for words to communicate.
How to Play:
A player from each team starts at the front and is given a simple word to communicate (whispered by a leader or given on a slip of paper). There is only one problem, they cannot speak, they must only use their butt! By turning around and drawing the letters out with their butt, the team must try to work out what the movement spells. When they have figured it out, they can shout out. The player then moves onto the next word. The player that communicates the most amount of words in the given time is the winner.
Applications:
ATTENTION: Were you paying attention to what your friend’s butt was saying in the ‘Butt Shuffle’ game? God wants us to stay alert at all times, paying attention to what He is trying to say to us. (Isaiah, 28:23)
COMMUNICATION and UNDERSTANDING: In the ‘Butt Shuffle’ game, was it easy to communicate and understand the message that was being given?
SHARING THE GOSPEL and PREACHING: The ‘Butt Shuffle’ game is a funny way of communicating a message, right?! Well, God calls each one of us to share a very special message, a message of good news… that Jesus is alive and that he came to the earth to forgive us for all the wrong things that we have done… (Mark 16:15, 1 Timothy 4:13)
