Number of Players: 2 or more

Age of Players: 6 and above

You will need: story cards; cards that have a picture from each part of a story on them.

Prep: Print out or buy your story cards.

How to Play:

Once you have your cards printed out you can hand them to your players or teams. The first player/team to order the story into the correct order is the winner or winning team.

You can find images for your stories at Brick Testament or at Bible Story Cards.

To make this game more tailored to an upfront format you can print the cards off larger and present them on a board for the player to reorder.

Applications:

ANY BIBLE STORY: The ‘Order the Story’ game can be applied to any bible story as you can use it to teach any bible story that you can find images to communicate.

DIS/ORDER: Was it easy to order the story? The bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:33 in the NIV says ‘For God is not a God of disorder but of peace–as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.’ It adds, ‘…everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.’ (1 Corinthians 14:40)

PEACE: Did it feel chaotic that the story was in disorder? God is not a God of disorder, but of peace. He wants us to know His peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33)
