After writing Zoom sessions for ‘The Greatest’ Easter curriculum and our soon to be released ‘Prayer Bootcamp’ curriculum I suddenly realised that there are some fun ways to make zoom calls more creative. One of those ways is to create virtual backgrounds.
Do you have the awkward problem of not wanting a bunch of kids to see your messy house? Or perhaps you’re just looking to make your Zoom calls more fun?!
Virtual backgrounds do just the trick. You can hide your real backdrop and make a completely new one!
If you want to use some fun free background images for your Zoom meetings with kids, volunteers and families, we’ve got just the ones for you!
We have some simple travel backgrounds:
And some more fun backgrounds:
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD ONE OF OUR FREE VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS FOR ZOOM HERE
Start by going into My Preferences within Zoom:
Click on the Virtual Background tab:
Click on the little add sign above the backgrounds to the right.
Upload the background of your choice.
If you have a green screen you can tick that option. It will possibly work a little better with one of these, but still fun without!
You can watch how it looks here:
And hey presto! You have a background for your meetings!
To create your own images you’ll need to create your images in “Presentation Wide” format at 1920×1280 pixels.
Got some new ideas for zoom backgrounds that you’d love us to include? Email ministryark.com@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to add them to our free backgrounds page.
