‘Who Am I?’ Childrens Ministry Teaching Series on Jesus’ Identity

MAIN IDEA: The ‘Who Am I?’ Childrens Ministry Teaching Series on Jesus’ Identity challenges children to think about who Jesus is and what he does. It goes through the 7 ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus in the New Testament and link this to the ‘Great I am’ saying of God in Exodus.

This theme is all about who Jesus is; his identity. He was a real person that lived on the earth yet He was and is also God. In this teaching series we will explore the person of Jesus and the 7 things that he said about himself; known as “the I am sayings”. We will begin the series looking at how Jesus is “The Great I am”.

The theming for this series is all around identity and therefore you can use a spy type of theme; taking advantage of the idea and theme of disguise.
